Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Our sand-filled pitch holds water after rain and has discoloured patches. What is wrong?

A. This problem is probably caused by contamination of the sand by pollutants, vegetable matter or particulates. A site visit will establish the actual cause. Contaminated sand can be removed and replaced by processes such as Rejuvenation. This can add years to the useful life of a pitch and restore the drainage and playing characteristics. Refer to our Maintenance and Repair section for more information.

Rejuvenation is a patented process. The patent holder is Charles Lawrence International Ltd.

Our running track has patches where the surface has become detached leaving a dangerous trip hazard. Can you help?

Patches of missing surface can be caused by wear and tear, poor original installation techniques or materials or by vandalism. Whatever the cause a repair can usually be made. Refer to our Maintenance and Repair section for more information.

We need a new multi-sport pitch. Will we need to have a new base and shockpad?

The bases of synthetic pitches are usually designed to allow the replacement of the surface without the need for a new base. The condition of your base can easily be checked for suitability. Contact us to arrange a site inspection.
